How Jordan Ridge Sauces Boosted Brand Visibility with Custom Stickers

Tell us about your company and the products you’ve offered?

Jordan Ridge Sauces make sweet sticky BBQ sauces from simple ingredients, no preservatives, without gluten, from generational farm family recipes. Based out of Black Diamond, Alberta! 

We did our first Farmers Market on Father's Day in 2027 and have never looked back! We offer our 'Big 3' skus Maple Campfire Dip & Grill, Sweet BBQ, and Sweet Jalapeno BBQ, with a few specialty items being added at Christmas (in limited quantities).

Jordan Ridge Sauces is named after my Mom and my Grama Jordan. After all, we ARE using their recipes!

What makes your business different from the rest?

Our sauces are for those people who DON'T like barbecue sauces! 

We strive to produce a premium product at a fair and reasonable price for Canadian kitchens. We are a family-based business with the mission to be the #1  barbecue sauce seller in Western Canada. We have BIG dreams! 

People are more aware that what they put into their bodies is what they are going to get out of it. They read labels, and they make food purchase choices based on flavour, yes, but also on that ingredient list. There are no big words on our Jordan Ridge Sauces ingredient list because farm kitchens in my Mom's and my Grama's day didn't use preservatives- and these recipes have survived generations, so why mess with a good thing?

How did you find StickerCanada?

It's extremely important to us at Jordan Ridge Sauces to support Canadian suppliers at each level of our production process. Every bottle we produce has a red Maple Leaf on the label. 

That's in honour of my step-Dad, Warren Gale, who was a Juno Beach veteran. So when we needed some marketing materials, it was just natural to Google Canadian sticker companies. We started with a small trial order from StickerCanada, appreciated the quality and quick turnaround for delivery,  and honestly, we have never looked back.

How did you use the stickers you’ve purchased in your business?

You know those water bottle stickers that everyone is using to identify their hydration device? 

We used those same size, same idea as the water bottle stickers, but we use them as Shelf Talkers for our retail stores. Shelf talkers are the small promotional materials that act as flags on the grocery shelf that could indicate Canadian-made, local product, or Alberta producer. We've all seen them. Jordan Ridge Sauces shelf talkers are small colour pictures of our Big 3 Sauces, and a fun one of our founder, Laurie Rowe, holding all 3 sauces in her Calgary Flames hockey jersey. If you see one, feel free to pick it up. We'll restock more!

How did the stickers help promote your products?

With using a Calgary Flames hockey jersey as one of our Shelf Talkers immediately lets people know we are based near the city of Calgary. And that we might 'not' be an Edmonton Oilers fan! These stickers have also been known to (very carefully and very sneakily) show up on a water bottle of someone who may/may not have been a Flames fan. And they didn't realize it for several hours. It was all in good fun and excellent promotion for Jordan Ridge Sauces.

We create premium products, and our promotional products need to have that same guarantee of consistent quality.
